JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Prosperity Indonesia plans to build cement mill in Tuban, East Java, by end of this year, which costs US$400 million. The construction is targeted to complete in 2 years.

The company has built its first cement mill in South Kalimantan with installed capacity of 3,200 tons per day.

The national cement sales declined 3.3% to 13.6 million tons in the first quarter of this year, from 14.07 million tons in the same period of last year.

For this whole year, national cement sales is targeted to reach 62 million tons, up 3.5% from 59.9 million tons last year. The infrastructure and property projects would support the cement sales this year.
