JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Shipping company PT Samudera Indonesia Tbk (SMDR) booked profit attributable to equity of US$5.23 million in the first quarter of 2015, jumped 146% from US$2.1 million in the same period of 2014. Net profit margin was 4.6%.
Revenues however declined 7.4% to US$113.7 million from previous US$122.8 million. Sales revenue from shipping & agency accounted for US$86 million and sales revenue from logistic and terminal segment amounted US$31 million.
Operating profit otherwise surged 54.5% to US$7.38 million from earlier US$4.78 million. Operating profit margin was 6.5%. Its assets reached US$619.6 million while liability amounted US$323.54 million. (rully@yosefardi.biz)
