JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Senior banker Eduardus Cornelis William Neloe (ECW) Neloe, also former president director of state owned PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI), have passed away this morning after being treated at Medistra Hospital, Jakarta.
Born in Makassar, Southeast Sulawesi, Neloe (71) served as president director of Bank Mandiri for 2000-2005 period, after Robby Johan’s term.
Bank Mandiri was new entity of the merging of 4 banks; Bank Dagang Negara (BDN), Bank Exim, Bapindo dan BTN. Neloe started his carrer on banking industry at BDN in 1966 and served as director for BDN for 1991-1998 period.
