JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – State cement maker PT Semen Indonesia Tbk (SMGR) booked net profit of Rp2.57 trillion in first half of this year, grew by 21.2% from Rp2.12 trillion in the same period of last year.

Revenues jumped 31.87% to Rp11.42 trillion from previous Rp8.66 trillion. Cost of revenues reached Rp6.28 trillion while operating profit was Rp3.37 trillion.

Its assets totaled Rp26.7 trillion while liability amounted Rp8.1 trillion. The company has cash and cash equivalent of Rp1.79 trillion.

Meanwhile PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (INTP) reported net profit of Rp2.42 trillion in first half of this year, grew by 11.5% from Rp2.17 trillion in the corresponding period of last year.

Net income increased 8.9% to Rp8.92 trillion from previous Rp8.19 trillion. Cost of revenues reached Rp4.69 trillion and operating profit was Rp2.99 trillion.

Its assets totaled Rp24.96 trillion while liability amounted Rp4.76 trillion. Cash and cash equivalent reached Rp11.98 trillion.

In contrast, PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk (SMCB) reported a 7.3% decline in net profit (Rp467 billion) in first half of this year, compared to Rp504 billion in the same period of last year. Sales increased 6.9% to Rp4.48 trillion from previous Rp4.19 trillion.

As general and administration costs increased, income from operation inched down to 783 billion, compared to Rp795 billion a year earlier. Its assets totaled Rp13.77 trillion while liability amounted Rp5.27 trillion. Cash and cash equivalent was Rp296.28 billion.
