JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) regained ground on Tuesday and ended down 0.06 at 5242.
The index moved at negative territory during the day trading and reached its lowest at 5164. It start to cut losses in the mid of afternoon trade. While regional markets closed mixed.
Astra International fell 1%, Bank Central Asia declined 1.06%, Bank Rakyat Indonesia lost 1.25%, Bank Mandiri dropped 3.1%, Bank Danamon shed 4.09%, Bumi Serpong Damai slashed 3.69%, and Jababeka lost 1.69%.
While Vale Indonesia jumped 7.41%, Kalbe Farma rose 1.35%, Unilever surged 5.76%, Bank Negara Indonesia increased 2.3%, Adaro gained 1.09%, and Astra Agro up 1.37%.
Adhi Karya also rose 3.27%, Bank Tabungan Negara hiked 3.23%, Bank Jatim gained 2.73%, and Sekawan Intipratama soared 10.64%.
Nymex’s crude oil fell 0.7% to US$56.59 per barrel and gold declined 0.15% to US$1,201.40 per ounce. The rupiah weakened to Rp12,978 against the US dollar.
