JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended down 0.02% at 5435 on Friday (April 24), as profit taking reversed earlier gain. The index moved at range of 5424-5464 during the day trading. Asian markets closed mixed.
Astra Agro dropped 4.76% after reporting 80% drop in net profit in the first quarter of 2015. AKR Corporindo also lost 4.63%, Adaro Enegy fell 1.02%, Bank Negara Indonesia declined 2.46%, Eagle High Plantation shed 1.4%, and Perusahaan Gas Negara slashed 1.28%.
Other losers were Multipolar (-3.57%), Pakuwon Jati (-1.96%), and Japfa Comfeed (-2.36%).
While Bumi Resources Minerals (BRMS) jumped 10.69%, Bumi Resources gained 1.3%, Gudang Garam rose 2.64%, Vale Indonesia increased 1.49%, Telkom hiked 1.75%, and Unilever Indonesia climbed 2.9%.
Nymex’s crude oil inched up 57.78 per barrel while gold retreated 0.23% to US$1,191.30 per ounce. The rupiah was traded flat at Rp12,941 against the US dollar.
