JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended lower 0.2% at 5410 on Friday (April 17) but trade was very volatile.

The index moved at range of 5410-5429 during the day trading. Regional markets also closed in red.

Lippo Karawaci dropped 9.25%, Alam Sutera lost 2.29%, Bank Central Asia fell 1%, Bank Negara Indonesia declined 1.4%, Jababeka shed 2.54%, Matahari Putra Prima slashed 2.3%, and Berau Coal lost 5.05%.

While AKR Corporindo gained 4.93%, Waskita Karya rose 1.42%, BW Plantation jumped 3.45%, London Sumatra climbed 3.36%, and Perusahaan Gas Negara surged 4.95%.

Nymex’s crude oil fell 1.04% to US$56.12 per barrel while gold rose 0.53% to US$1,204.30 per ounce. The rupiah was traded flat at Rp12,863 against the US dollar.
