JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Indonesia’ export value reached US$13.71 billion in March 2015, grew by 12.63% from February 2015. Compared to March 2014, the figure fell 9.75%.
Non oil and gas export rose 12.5% to US$11.72 billion in March 2015 compared to previous month. But the figure declined 6.61% compared to March 2014 export.
For January-March 2015 period, Indonesia’s export declined 11.67% to US$39.13 billion. Non oil and gas export also fell 8.23% to US$33.43 billion.
Export non oil and gas to United States in March 2015 reached US$1.33 billion, followed by Japan US$1.28 billion, and China US$1.11 billion. Export to European Union totaled US$1.22 billion.
While Indonesia’s import value reached US$12.58 billion in March 2015, grew by 9.29% from previous month. Compared to March 2014, the figure fell 13.39%.
Import of non oil and gas reached US$10.31 billion, rose 5.32% from previous month. Compared to March 2014, the figure dropped 13.39%.
Indonesia then posted trade surplus of US$1.13 billion in March 2015.
For January-December 2014 period, the import reached US$36.70 billion, declined 15.10% from the same period of 2014. Import of oil and gas totaled US$6.10 billion while import of non oil and gas reached US$30.60 billion. (rully@yosefardi.biz)
