JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Bank Central Asia (BCA) Tbk (BBCA) will pay dividend of Rp3.65 trillion or Rp148 per share for 2014 fiscal year.
The dividend represents 21.5% of last year’s net profit of Rp16.5 trillion. The bank has in December last year paid interim dividend of Rp50 per share.
BCA maintains its position as the largest company listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) by market capitalization with US$7 billion gap over Bank Mandiri (BMRI), the largest bank by total assets.
Meanwhile, PT Bank OCBC NISP Tbk will pay no dividend for 2014 fiscal year. It booked net profit of Rp1.3 trillion last year. The bank has not paid dividend for the past ten years as it prefers to maintain its capital adequacy ratio (CAR) at above 13%.
