JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo along with tens of Indonesian actors, directors, and filmmakers enjoyed watching movies altogether at the State Palace Jakarta, Monday (Mar. 30) evening, in order to commemorate the National Film Day.
They altogether watched the movie titled “Cahaya dari Timur” or “The Light from the East”, which is granted as the best movie in the 2014 Indonesian Film Festival (FFI). Said movie is based on true story of the life journey of a local football coach in Maluku namely Sani Tawainela.
Anies Baswedan, Arief Yahya, Ferry Mursyildan Baldan, and Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan were among cabinet members accompanying the President to watch the movie.
Also present in the event were senior actress Christine Hakim, Roy Marten, Jajang C Noer, Vino G. Bastian, Reza Rahardian, Chiko Jerico, Olga Lidya, Chelsea Islan, Marsha Timothy, and Julie Estelle. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
