JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended higher 0.2% at 5447 on Tuesday (March 24), but trade was volatile. The index moved at range of 5434-5458 during the day trading. Asian shares wobble on weak China data.
Bank Negara Indonesia gained 1.43%, Bank Danamon jumped 3.62%, Bumi Serpong Damai rose 1.73%, Indofood increased 1%, Lippo Karawaci hiked 2.42%, Global Mediacom lifted 2.2%, and Matahari Putra Prima climbed 1.1%.
While Bumi Resources Minerals dropped 11.48%, Garuda Indonesia lost 1.2%, Bumi Resources fell 1.1%, Persusahaan Gas Negara slashed 3.45%, Adhi Karya shed 1.7%, Wijaya Karya declined 1.26%, and Multipolar down 1.56%.
Nymex’s crude oil declined 0.42% to US$47.25 per barrel while gold rose 0.2% to US$1,190 per ounce. The rupiah strengthened to Rp12,972 against the US dollar.
