JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended down 0.1% at 5437 on Monday (March 23), reversing earlier gains, as profit taking hit.

Alam Sutera lost 1.72%, BW Plantation declined 2.2%, London Sumatera shed 2.45%,  Jababeka fell 1.2%, and Perusahaan Gas Negara dropped 1.46%.

Other losers were Adhi Karya (-1.83%), Wijaya Karya (-1.1%), Multipolar (-3.52%), Pakuwon Jati (-2.8%), Hanson International (-4.46%), and Bumi Resources Minerals (-5.18%).

While Adaro Energy gained 2.1%, Aneka Tambang rose 1.69%, Bumi Resources increased 1.1%, and Matahari Putra Prima climbed 3.35%.

Nymex’s crude oil fell 2.21% to US$45.54 per barrel and gold declined 0.4% to US$1,181.40 per ounce. The rupiah was traded flat at Rp13,076 against the US dollar.
