JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Abdullah Hehamahua, former adviser of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), has campaigned the imposement of the death penalty for corruptors.
Abdullah shared his suggestion during a public discussion at Brewerkz Café in Senayan City, Central Jakarta, Sunday (Mar. 15).
Abdullah said the death penalty to corruptors is necessary needed to give deterrent effect.
Previously, former KPK Chief Abraham Samad also shared his beliefs that the death penalty will give a deterrent effect in order to curb corruption practices in the country.
Teten Masduki, anti-corruption activist and now a part of Jokowi’s inner circle, was also among those who support the death penalty for corruptors. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
