JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The government of Indonesia targets to raise Rp2 trillion from offering, through auction, Islamic bonds (sukuk) on Tuesday (March 10).
The government targets to raise Rp20 trillion through offering sukuk this year. Last year, sukuk offering totaled Rp19.3 trillion.
Sukuk offered this year (SR-007 series) will mature in March 11, 2018 and offers yield of 8.25% per year, lower than 8.75% yield offered by SR-006 series offered last year.
Year to date, the government of Indonesia has raised Rp134.6 trillion from offering its notes (SBN), or 29.8% of this year’s target of Rp451.8 trillion.
