JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Judiciary Council of the Golkar Party is expected on Tuesday (Mar. 3) to rule the dispute between Agung Laksono and Aburizal “Ical” Bakrie, the two warring factions in the party.
Leo Nababan of Agung Laksono’s Golkar revealed that the Judiciary Council will read their rulings at around 2:00 pm of Jakarta time.
The Judiciary Council actually wanted to read their rulings last week but pending after Ical’s Golkar submitted new testimonies and evidences.
As reported earlier, the Golkar Party is still deeply divided into Agung Laksono and Ical Bakrie’s Golkar. Agung became Golkar Chairman in the party’s chairmanship congress (munas) in Jakarta. Ical, meanwhile, secured his second term as Golkar Chairman in another party’s chairmanship congress in Bali. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
