JAKARTA (Yosefardi) –Abraham Samad has once again been named as suspect by the National Police related to allegation of abuse of power during his term as the Chief of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo has earlier temporarily dismissed Abraham from his position.
The Deputy Chief of the National Police Comr. Gen. Badrodin Haiti explained that Police has named Abraham as suspect in the case since last week.
According to Badrodin, the case was based on the report filed by Muhammad Yusuf Sahide, the Executive Director of the KPK Watch.
Therefore, Abraham is now facing investigation over two separate cases.
Previously, Abraham has been also named as suspect by the South Sulawesi Police related to the case of falsifying document. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
