JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened higher 0.14% to 5457 this morning follwoing regional markets.

Japan’s benchmark stock-market index hit a new 15-year high on Friday, while the U.S. dollar advanced on the back of slightly warmer-than-expected core inflation data, Reuters reported.

Nymex’s crude oil rose 1.54% to US$48.91 per barrel in Asian trading this morning while gold retreated 0.02% to US$1,209.80 per ounce.

London Sumatra gained 1.09%, Multipolar rose 1.09%, Visi Media increased 2.75%, and Aneka Tambang climbed 1%.
