JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Ministry of Transportation has rulled and required the national airlines to have minimum 5 own aircrafts by July 1, 2015 and to have 5 rental aircrafts.
This regulation has been set in the Law Number 1/2009 regarding the flight but the implementation of the ownership of minimum 5 aircrafts have not yet been complied by the national airlines.
The Ministry of Transportation will revoke the licenses for the airlines that fail to have minimum 5 aircrafts of their owns.
For case such as Adam Air, the airline could not pay salaries to its employees and the operation costs as it has no assets when facing the financial problem.
The Ministry of Tranportation has also ruled for giving a pinalty or sanction to the airlines that fail to flight on time or delay the flight.
