JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened lower this morning but regained 0.3% to 5446. Trade was volatile.

Asian stock markets opened mixed on Thursday after a flat finish on Wall Street overnight and as traders digested a raft of corporate earnings, cnbc.com reported. Nymex’s crude oil fell 0.59% to US$50.60 per barrel while gold rose 0.46% to US$1,206.50 per ounce.

Bumi Resources gained 2.17%, BW Plantation rose 1.4%, Timah increased 1.5%, Multipolar climbed 2.8%, and Berau Coal hiked 1.25%. While Astra, Bank Negara Indonesia, Bank Mandiri were in red.
