JAKARTA Yosefardi) – PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR) reported net profit of Rp2.82 trillion in first half of this year, compared to Rp2.33 trillion in the same period of last year. Earning per share (EPS) was Rp370.
Net sales increased 15.5% to Rp15.43 trillion from previous Rp13.36 trillion. Cost of goods sold also rose to Rp7.46 trillion. Operating profit reached Rp3.79 trillion, higher than Rp3.09 trillion in first half of 2012.
Its assets totaled Rp14.19 trillion while liability amounted Rp9.95 trillion.
The company allocates capital expenditure (capex) of Rp1 trillion for this year, funded by internal cash, to fund the expansion of factory capacity for food & beverages and home & personal care.
