JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The National Police’s Criminal Investigation (Bareskrim Polri) targets to name 21 investigators from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) as suspects for owning illegal guns.
Comr. Gen. Budi Waseso, the Chief of the Bareskrim Polri, said he wants to speed up the investigation into all 21 KPK’s investigators.
The three-star police general, moreover, said he ensures that the police will name all 21 KPK’s investigators as suspects should later police prove the allegation.
Previously, the police has named two KPK leaders as suspects. The first was KPK Deputy Chief Bambang Widjojanto in a case related to the post-election dispute of Kotawaringin Barat regency back in 2010.
Latest, the South Sulawesi Police named KPK Chief Abraham Samad as suspect in a case back in 2007 related to the falsifying document of a woman identified as Feriyani Lim. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
