JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended higher 0.57% at 5374 on Friday (Feb 13). Trade was volatile with the index moving at range of 5353-5381 during the day trading.

Asian shares soared on Friday on news of a ceasefire accord in Ukraine, while Sweden’s surprise move to cut its main rate into negative territory and hopes of a resolution between debt-strapped Greece and its creditors burnished risk appetite, Reuters reported.

At Jakarta bourse, Adaro Energy gained 1.52%, Bumi Resources hiked 1%, Bank Rakyat Indonesia rose 1.05%, Bank Mandiri increased 1.06%, Kalbe Farma lifted 1.08%, and Telkom climbed 2.94%.

While Adhi Karya fell 1%, Global Medicom declined 1.96%, Nirvana Development lost 1.75%, Garuda Indonesia shed 2.75%, Bumi Resources Minerals dropped 4.4%,

Nymex’s crude oil rose 1.6% to US$52.03 per barrel and gold increased 0.48% to US$1,226.50 per ounce. The rupiah strengthened to Rp12,769 against the US dollar.
