JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened higher 0.25% to 5333 this morning while regional markets were mixed.

U.S. stocks rose on Tuesday on hopes that Greek debt negotiations could result in a deal that stabilizes Europe although a drop in oil prices limited the advance, Reuters reported.

Nymex’s crude oil rose 1.5% to US$50.77 per barrel in Asian trading this morning and gold increased 0.43% to US$1,237.50 per ounce.

Coal miner Berau Coal jumped further 12.79% to respond a plan from parent company Asia Resources Minerals Plc (ARMS) to issue new shares worth US$100 million to help BRAU restructure its debts.

Aneka Tambang gained 2.42%, Bank Mandiri rose 2.15%, Borneo Lumbung Energi climbed 5.77%, Adhi Karya hiked 2.16%, Waskita Karya lifted 2.27%, and Garuda gained 1.87%.
