JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Investors were focusing on buying shares of state construction firm PT Waskita Karya Tbk (WSKT) this morning, then the stock jumped 4.79% to Rp1860 per share at 10.14 am Jakarta time.
Some 39 million shares were exchange hands. The stock has been consistently gaining since mid November last year from Rp950. Since then, WSKT has gained almost 200%.
WSKT was among top ten gainers (9th place) during 2014, jumping by 263% to Rp1470 at the last trading in 2014, from Rp405 at end of December 2013. State construction PT PP also surged 208% to Rp3575 last year, placed at 11th of top gainers.
WSKT also placed at 23rd for most active stocks by trading volume during 2014. It also placed at 31st for most active stocks by trading value. Its peers, Adhi Karya placed at 18th and Wijaya Karya placed at 20th.
At 10.32 am Jakarta time this morning, Adhi Karya gained 2.28%, Wijaya Karya rose 1.59%, and PTPP hiked 3.02%.
