JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) gained 0.48% to 5288 this early morning trade to tracking gain in Wall Street overnight.

Markets in Asia followed Wall Street’s lead to the upside as oil prices halted their slide and traders digested a flurry of corporate reports, Reuters reported.

Nymex’s crude oil increased 0.16% to 44.60 per barrel in Asian trading this morning and gold rose 0.37% to US$1,260.60 per ounce.

Adaro Energy gained 1%, Astra International rose 1.29%, Bank Negara Indonesia hiked 1.63%, Bank Danamon climbed 2%, Bum Serpong Damai lifted 1.25%, and Bumi Resources gained 2%.

Bank Negara Indonesia booked profit after tax of Rp10.83 trillion in 2014, grew by 19.5% from Rp9.06 trillion in 2013. While Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (BDMN) booked profit after tax of Rp2.6 trillion in 2014, dropped 35.64% from Rp4.04 trillion in 2013.
