JAKARTA (Yosefardi) –  The upstream oil and gas regulatory agency (SKKMigas) has Tuesday (Jan 27) signed 5 contract agreements for gas sale and purchase valuing for US$617 million, equivalent Rp7.7 trillion, translated as the state revenue.

Amien Sunaryadi, SKKMigas head, said the gas contracts signed today include contract between PT Medco E&P Malaka and PT Pertamina for fertilizer for 13 years period and 58 billion British thermal unit per day (bbtud).

PT Pertagas Niaga and PT Pelindo I, state sea port operator, also today signed gas sale and purchase agreement, used to supply machine power plants based in Belawan and Kuala Tanjung ports.

Pertagas Niaga is committed to supply 30-35 million metric standard cubic feet per day (mmscfd). Gas supply for Belawan is targeted to be on stream in 2016 while Kuala Tanjung to be on stream in 2017.
