JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended lower 1.2% at 5260 on Monday (Jan 26), but closed off its low. The index moved at range of 5208-5309 during the day trading.
Investors responded negatively over the Greek radikal left’s winning on the election.
Adaro Energy declined 2%, Bumi Resources lost 3%, Aneka Tambang dropped 2.83%, Lippo Karawaci Slashed 2.67%, London Sumatra shed 2.68%, Perusahaan Gas Negara declined 2.33%, and Telkom down 2.42%.
Other losers were Bank Tabungan Negara (-2.94%), Adhi Karya (-2.94%), Media Nusantara Citra (-3.45%), and Pakuwon Jati (-4.55%).
Nymex’s crude oil fell 1.14% to US$46.77 per barrel and gold declined 0.86% to US$1,281.50 per ounce. The rupiah weakened again to Rp12,517 against the US dollar.
