JAKARTA (Yosefadi) – Paper producer PT Kertas Basuki Rachmat Indonesia Tbk (KBRI) is optimistic to book profit in first quarter of this year, supported by the operation of new paper machine, unit 3, late last year with capacity of 260,000 tons per year.
The company targets to sell 200,000 tons of paper product this year, priced at Rp4 million per ton, to raise Rp800 billion. In 2014, KBRI only booked sales of Rp11.87 billion.
It suffered loss of Rp13.32 billion in first nine months to September of 2014. KBRI booked no sales in first quarter of 2014 as its paper mill, unit 1, did not operate.
Now, with the operation of paper machine, unit 3, KBRI targets its Ebitda margin to reach 10-15% while net profit margin at 5-8%.
