JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Chief of the National Police, General Sutarman, will reportedly to install two new regional police chief on Friday (Jan. 9).
That two new regional police chiefs are Pol. Brig. Gen. Boy Rafly Amar, to become new Chief of Banten Police to replace Pol. Brig. Gen. Zulkarnaen, and Pol. Brig. Gen. Paulus Waterpau, to post as the first ever Chief of the West Papua Police.
The inauguration ceremony will be held today at the National Police’s headquarters in Trunojoyo, South Jakarta.
Prior to the promotion, Boy Rafly Amar served as the National Police’s Spokesperson. While Paulus Waterpau served as Deputy Chief of the Papua Police. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
