JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Deputy Chief of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Bambang Widjojanto revealed the KPK’s plan to coordinate with Minister of Transportation Ignasius Jonan related to allegation of irregularities in the issuance of flight-route permit for the missing AirAsia QZ8501 serving Surabaya-Singapore flight, Kompas.com reported.

“We want to find out. Is it just a maladministration or a possibility of graft?” Bambang said.

As reported earlier, the flight-route permit issuance of AirAsia QZ8501 has become a topic of debate in the last few days.

Praminto Hadi, Regional Third Chief of the Juanda Airport, recently revealed that AirAsia QZ8501 has no flight-route permit on Sunday (Dec 28) from the Indonesian authority. He previously mentioned that AirAsia QZ8501 has secured a flight-route permit. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
