JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The joint search team has evacuated 37 bodies from the missing AirAsia QZ8501 in Karimata Straits, off south Kalimantan, until the 9th day of search and evacuation.

According to Operational Director of the National Search & Rescue Agency (Basarnas) SB Supriyadi, the team found three latest bodies on Monday (Jan 5).

The Police’s Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) team, meanwhile, revealed that they have identified 13 out of 37 bodies evacuated from the crash location.

As reported earlier, AirAsia QZ8501 was crashed on Dec. 28, 2014, in the Karimata Strait, believed to have killed 162 passengers and crew members. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
