JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – National Agency for Rescue and Search (Basarnas) reported that two parts of body from AirAsia Qz8501 aircraft has been found at mid night of Friday (Jan 2), the 7th day of searching.
Search and Rescue Agency (SAR) chief Henry Bambang Soelistyo said that the said objects are detected as 3 and 2 dimension objects.
“I ensure that this 2 objects found are parts of AirAsia QZ8501 body,” he told reporters, adding the SAR team uses remote operated vehicle (ROV) technology to clear the said objects.
As of now, around 30 bodies out of 162 people aboard AirAsia QZ 8501 have been evacuated.
