South Korean maritime patrol aircraft P-3 C Orion KN-01 managed to evacuate six bodies from the missing AirAsia AZ 8501 in Karimata Straits, off south Kalimantan Friday (Jan 2nd).
Orion found three bodies sitting in one row at 11.58 a.m, followed with three other bodies nearby at 12.31-13.00 West Indonesia Time.
Marshall Hadi Tjahjanto, head of information of Indonesian Air Force, said Orion searched the area by flying 300 feet above sea level.
As of now, around 30 bodies out of 162 people aboard AirAsia QZ 8501 have been evacuated.
