Composite index of Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened 2015 trading with 0.2% gain Friday, January 2nd.
Indofood Sukses Makmur (INDF) leads with 4.81% gain, while subsidiary Indofood CBP advanced 1.72%.
Toll road operator Jasa Marga, Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGAS), Vale Indonesia, Gudang Garam, PP London Sumatra, and Salim Ivomas were also in green.
Bumi Resources, however, lost 5% in the opening hour. State bank BRI, top gainer last year, slipped 0.21%, while property giant BSDE down 0.8%.
In the region, STI Index and All Ordinaries inched up 0.05% and 0.11% respectively, while KOSPI composite slipped 0.01%.
