JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Bank Central Asia (BCA) Tbk (BBCA) is the biggest company listed at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in term of market capitalization.

IDX data shows BCA’s market capitalization reached Rp320 trillion, or 6.1% of total market capitalization.

Other big four companies are HM Sampoerna with market capitalization of Rp301 trillion, Astra International (Rp301 trillion), Telkom (Rp289 trillion), and Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) (+285 trillion).

BRI is also recorded as the biggest mover for stock market during 2014 with 60.7% gain in price.

Other big movers are Telkom which gained 33.3%, Bank Mandiri (+37.3%), Unilever (+24.2%), and Bank Negara Indonesia (+54.4%).

While the biggest larggard stock was coal miner Indo Tambangraya which lost 46.1% and has market capitalization of Rp17 trillion.

Other big laggard stocks were Trada Maritim (-86.7%), Inovisi (-87.4%), coal miner Bumi Resources (-73.3%), and Bank Internasional Indonesia (-32.1%).

Composite index of IDX gained 0.94% to close at 5227 on Tuesday (Dec 30), last trading day for this year.

Foreign investors booked net buy of Rp2.49 trillion yesterday. Year to date, foreign investors’ net buy totals Rp42.59 trillion. Foreign investors held 41% of stocks transaction during this year.
