JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The aircraft of Indonesian Air Force (TNI-AU) has at 13.53 pm Jakarta time found tank and flakes of missing Air Asia Flight QZ8501 aircraft in Karimata straits.

I Marsma Dwi Putranto, TNI-AU’s commander of operation, told the press that the location of tank and life belt found is near Pangkalan Bun.

The Ministry of Transportation has also confirmed that 3 flakes are parts of missing AirAsia plane.

Search and Rescue Agency chief Henry Bambang Soelistyo also said TNI-AU aircraft found an image of plane’s body under the sea.

Entering the day-3, the area of searching is expanded to 13 locations from earlier 7 locations, deploying 1126 personnel.

Indonesian military has, so far, deployed 16 aircrafts and 13 vessels for the search. Neighboring countries of Malaysia, Singapore, and Australia have also assisted Indonesian authorities in the process.
