JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Inspectorate General of the Culture, Elementary and Secondary Education Ministry has launched a thorough internal investigation into mark up allegation related to the
procurement project of training module for supervisory teachers of the 2013 national curriculum.
The Education Ministry’s Inspector General Haryono Umar said the investigation is conducted following the finding of the Indonesian Corruption Watch (ICW).
The former Deputy Chief of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) also said that the investigation will be also conducted into the implementation of the training for the 2013 curriculum supervisory teachers.
Minister of Culture, Elementary and Secondary Education Anies Baswedan earlier has decided to revoke the problematic 2013 curriculum.
The 2013 curriculum was started back in July 2013 under the previous Education Minister Muhammad Nuh. Nuh served as the Education Minister from 2009 to 2014 under the administration of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
