JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Achmad Dimyati Natakusumah, Secretary General of Djan Faridz’s PPP, revealed the possibility of his party to jump ship into the Great Indonesia ruling coalition (KIH) following his disappointment over the opposition group known as the Red-and-White coalition (KMP). Romahurmuziy’s PPP, meanwhile, has already joined the KIH.
“We got nothing at KMP.. But if we joined KIH, there would a chance that KIH will give us positions (at government), why not? There are many positions, like ambassadors, state-owned companies’ commissioners, and so on,” Dimyati said to Tribunnews.com on Thursday (Dec. 11).
The decision to either remain staying with KMP or joining KIH, however, will be decided in the party’s national working meeting (mukernas) held at JS Luwansa Hotel, Jakarta.
As reported earlier, PPP is still divided into two warring factions of Djan Faridz and Romahurmuziy. Both factions are now waiting for the final ruling of the State Administration Court (PTUN). (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
