JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – National car sales totaled 91,449 units in November 2014, from 105,356 units in previous month, or fell 18% from 111,741 units in November 2013.

The car sales decline is due to some factors including seasonal factor.

The sales also fell as car brand holders or agents cut their car delivery to dealers to anticipate the declining sales following 31% subsidiy cut for fuel.

Toyota then expects its car sales to decline to 400,000 units this year, from 430,000 units last year, with market shares to reach 33%.

In November 2014, Toyota sold 28,835 units, Daihatsu 14,593 units, Honda 12,418 units, Mitsubishi 11,463 units, and Suzuki 9,703 units.

For January-November 2014 period, wholesales of national car reached 1,129,746 units, inched down 0.2% from 1,132,210 units in the same period of 2013. While retail sales was 1,090,749 units, compared to 1,099,706 units a previous year.
