JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) gained 0.4% at 5184 this morning while Asian equity markets were mixed on Tuesday as investors weighed volatile commodity markets and news of Japan’s rating downgrade.

Nymex’s crude oil declined 0.58% to US$68.70 per barrel in Asian trading and gold dropped 1.07% to US$1,205.10 per ounce.

Alam Sutera gained 3.64%, Waskita Karya jumped, and Wijaya Karya rose 2.56%.

Other gainers were Aneka Tambang (+1.53%), Bumi Serpong Damai (+1.1%), BW Plantation (+1.1%), Vale Indonesia (+2.1%), Jababeka (+1.3%), Kalbe Farma (+1.1%), London Sumatra (+1.8%), and Timah (+1.25%).

While Bumi Resources fell 1.2% and Trada Maritim dropped 4.8%.
