JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) revealed Monday (November 3) that November inflation was 1.5%, compared to 0.47%, in previous month.
All 82 cities recorded inflation. Highest inflation occurred in Padang while the lowest occurred in Manokwari.
The inflation was contributed by staple food (2.15%), processed food, beverages, cigarettes, and tobacco (0.71%), housing, water, electricity, gas, fuel (0.49%), health (0.43%), education, recreation, and sport (0.08%), and transportation, communication, finance services (4.29%). While clothing recorded 0.08% deflation.
Transportation contributed 6.03% while financial services contributed 14.56%. Year to date, the inflation was 5.75% while year-on-year inflation reaches 6.23%.
