JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) gained 0.5% to 5129 at 9.31 am Jakarta time this morning, exetending yesterday’s gain of almost 1%, as the market responds positively over the recent fuel price hike.

Adaro Energy gained 1.97%, Bank Central Asia rose 1.72%, Bank Negara Indonesia increased 1.29%, Kalbe Farma hiked 1.72%, Adhi Karya lifted 1.3%, Wijaya Karya climbed 1.46%, Multipolar gained 2.67%, and Matahari Putra Prima jumped 3.42%.

Nymex’s crude oil fell 0.48% to US$74.28 per barrel in Asian trading and gold declined 0.38% to US$1,192.60 per ounce.
