JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Indonesia’ export value reached US$15.28 billion in September 2014, grew by 5.48% from US$14.48 billion in August 2014. Compared to September 2013, the figure rose 3.87%.
Non oil and gas export increased 6.48% to US$12.65 billion from US$11.88 billion in previous month. Compared to September 2013, the figure rose 2.94%.
Export non oil and gas to United States reached US$1.39 billion, followed by China US$1.29 billion, and Japan US$1.29 billion. Export to European Union totaled US$1.37 billion.
For January-September 2014 period, the export totaled US$132.71 billion, declined 0.93% from the same period of 2013. Non oil and gas export also fell 0.81% to US$109.30 billion.
While Indonesia’s import value reached US$15.55 billion in September 2014, up 5.09% from previous month. Compared to September 2013, the figure was up 0.23%.
Import of non oil and gas reached US$11.89 billion in September 2014, up 4.39% from previous month. Compared to September 2013, the figure was up 0.85%.
Indonesia then posted trade deficit of US$270 million in September 2014, compared to deficit US$318 million in August 2014.
