JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo got a lot of praises for accommodating demand on more females joining in the cabinet for 2014-2019 period.
The President has appointed eight female ministers, a substantial increase from previous regimes.
That eight female ministers are;
1) Puan Maharani (41) as new Coordinating Minister for Human Development & Culture
2) Retno Lestari Priansari Marsudi (51) as new Minister of Foreign Affairs
3) Nila Djuwita Anfasa Moeloek (65) as new Minister of Health Affairs
4) Siti Nurbaya Bakar (58) as new Minister of Environmental & Forestry
5) Susi Pudjiastuti (49) as new Minister of Fisheries & Maritime
6) Khofifah Indar Parawansa (49) as new Minister of Social Affairs
7) Rini Mariani Soemarno (56) as new Minister of State-Owned Enterprises
8) Yohana Susana Yembise (58) as new Minister of Women Empowerment & Children Protection
