JAKARTA (Yosefardi): This is another surprise from President Joko Widodo. He appointed Nila D Anfasa Moeloek as minister of health affairs.

Nila, who is Indonesia’s special envoy for Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), was almost appointed health minister in 2009 by sixth president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.

Nila, however, was surprisingly replaced by the late Endang Rahayu Sedyaningsih, who passed away in May 2012. SBY then appointed Nafsiah Mboi as successor of Endang.
