JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Unity Rise Limited has bought 593.5 million shares of PT Bank Mayapada Internasional Tbk (MAYA), from Avenue Luxembourg Sarl, at total value of Rp885.8 billion. Unity Rise bought MAYA shares at price of Rp1,490 and 1,495 per share.
After the transaction, Unity Rise now holds 17.06% ownership in Mayapada. Other shareholders of Mayapada are Brilliant Bazaar Pte Ltd (7.82%), PT Mayapada Karunia Corporation (25.31%), PT Mayapada Kasih (3.21%), Summertime Ltd (22.43%), SCB SG S/A Hong Leong Bank A/C Jtrust Asia Pte Ltd (10%), and public investors (14.17%.
The bank booked net profit of Rp251 billion in the first half of 2014 on net interest income of Rp521.21 billion. Bank Mayapada’s assets totaled Rp27.76 trillion, of which credit amounted Rp20.54 trillion. Its liability reached Rp25.09 trillion, of which deposits accounted for Rp20.33 trillion.
