JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The selection committee of the Corruption Eradication Commission’s (KPK) leader candidates has submitted two names of KPK leader candidates to President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) in a meeting held a the State Palace on Thursday (Oct. 16).

The two names of KPK leader candidates submitted to the President are incumbent KPK Deputy Chief Busyro Muqoddas and Robby Arya Brata.

Busyro Muqoddas, who will end his term Dec. 10, 2014. Robby currently serves as Head of International Affairs at the President’s Cabinet Secretariat.

The President then will submit the two candidates of KPK leader to the House of Representatives (DPR) to undergo a fit and proper test.

As reported earlier, the selection committee has interviewed six candidates, left among 104 applicants, for becoming the new KPK Deputy Chief. That six candidates are Busyro, Robby, Jamin Ginting, I Wayan Sudirta, Ahmad Taufik, and Subagio. (haryantos@yosefardi.biz)
