JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Rukun Raharja Tbk (RAJA), one of few natural gas distribution companies in the country, allocates US$40 million for expansion next year, to fund its projects in East Java and Jambi, Sumatra.

It allocates US$22.9 million for gas transmission pipe project, for 20 km long, in Gresik, East Java

In Jambi, RAJA plans to distribute 5 mmscfd to state electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) and develop CNG processing facility.

RAJA’s sales of natural gas reached US$78.29 million, grew by 20% from US$65.77 million in first half of 2013.

RAJA has potential growth going forward because of its political connections, especially with the incoming new regime of Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo.
