JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG) has boosted capital of its subsidiary, PT Solusi Menara Indonesia (SMI), then maintain its 70% ownership in SMI. While PT Solu Sindo Kreasi Pratama holds the rest.

SMI provides supporting services for telecommunication industry, such as to lease base transceiver station (BTS), consultation, building leasing and management services.

Currently SMI operates BTS leased to telecommunication providers/operators such as PT Indosat Tbk, PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk, PT XL Axiata Tbk, and others.

SMI’s shareholders had in October 8, 2014 agreed to boost SMI’s authorized capital from Rp48 billion to Rp1 trillion, by issuing 428,388 new shares, priced at Rp1 million per share.

TBIG absorbed 300,000 new shares or Rp300 billion in value.
