JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Chairul Tanjung, Coordinating Minister for Economy, schedules to lead the groundbreaking of Trans Sumatra toll megaproject on Friday (October 10), in Medan, North Sumatra.
State-owned construction firm PT Hutama Karya is also signed to work on 4 sections, of total 23 sections.
That 4 toll sections are Medan-Binjai, Palembang-Simpang Indralaya, Pekanbaru-Dumai and Bakauheni-Terbanggibesar, which cost Rp10 trillion.
While investment cost for all 23 toll sections, 2,771 km long, reaches Rp355 trillion.
Hutama Karya will lead a consortium, comprises of state-owned companies, to build Trans Sumatra toll project.
